POSITION DESCRIPTION
As a Lead Trainer at Burn Boot Camp, you are responsible for leading an exceptional fitness experience while developing a strong coaching culture within the gym. This role is centered around delivering dynamic, challenging, and safe workouts in a group training environment for members of all fitness levels. The ideal candidate has a passion for helping people grow in confidence and capability by pushing them outside of their comfort zone while creating a supportive, motivating, and high-energy environment. The Lead Trainer is expected to support members beyond camp through accountability, education, and guidance in movement, recovery, and foundational nutrition habits that build long-term confidence and results. In addition to coaching camps, the Lead Trainer serves as a leader for the training team, ensuring excellence in execution, member experience, operational standards, and Burn Boot Camp culture.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and support the training team
  • Maintain coaching consistency and uphold Burn Boot Camp standards
  • Assist with trainer onboarding, education, and accountability
  • Foster a positive, growth-minded, and team-first culture
  • Support leadership in hiring, team development, and performance expectations Member Experience
  • Deliver an exceptional member experience through connection, motivation, and accountability
  • Build meaningful relationships with members and create a welcoming environment
  • Help members gain confidence and achieve health and fitness goals
  • Conduct or support Focus Meetings and accountability conversations Fitness Product Execution
  • Lead high-energy, 45-minute Burn Boot Camp camps in a group personal training setting
  • Provide exercise modifications and progressions to appropriately challenge all fitness levels
  • Ensure safe movement patterns and proper form execution
  • Deliver Burn programming in alignment with Burn Boot Camp protocol and expectations Nutrition & Accountability
  • Provide foundational nutrition coaching and habit-based accountability to support member success
  • Educate members on sustainable nutrition habits, recovery, hydration, and healthy lifestyle practices
  • Help members establish realistic and individualized goals through coaching conversations
  • Maintain professional scope of practice and refer out when appropriate Marketing & Sales Execution
  • Support membership growth through community engagement, events, and relationship-building
  • Contribute to social media content, gym culture, and brand presence
  • Assist in lead conversion and member retention efforts
  • Represent Burn Boot Camp Mukwonago positively within the community Operational Execution
  • Assist with daily gym operations and cleanliness standards
  • Ensure equipment is organized, safe, and member-ready
  • Support special events, pop-ups, and community partnerships
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold brand standards at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is:
  • A proven leader with previous team leadership experience
  • Able to train clients of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds while appropriately challenging each individual

  • Able to follow Burn Boot Camp protocol and guidelines
  • Skilled in providing clear instruction, exercise modification, and motivation
  • Strong understanding of foundational nutrition principles and the ability to guide members in sustainable habits
  • Comfortable leading accountability conversations regarding fitness, recovery, and nutrition habits
  • Dedicated to maintaining professionalism, integrity, and client confidentiality
REQUIREMENTS
  • Certified Personal Trainer certification (NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, NSCA) OR a 4-year degree in Exercise Science (with no gap in industry experience)
  • CPR/AED Certification
  • 1+ years of personal training or coaching experience
  • Previous experience leading a team preferred
  • Foundational nutrition coaching experience required, with the ability to confidently support members in habit-based nutrition, recovery, and accountability conversations
  • Ability to coach camps in a high-energy, physically active environment

Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
