Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Looking for your next adventure?

We're hiring a licensed Travel Pharmacist for a short-term assignment in beautiful remote Alaska! This is a unique opportunity to work in a small critical access hospital while experiencing life in Cordova during the summer.

Assignment Details:

7-week contract starting June 1st
Day shift schedule
Monday
Friday
Retail pharmacy hours: 8:30 AM
5:30 PM
1-hour lunch break from 1:00 PM
2:00 PM
Housing provided and fully paid

Job Duties:

Assist at the retail pharmacy window
Fill and verify prescriptions accurately
Provide excellent patient service and counseling
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Work efficiently in a small hospital pharmacy setting

Requirements:

Active Alaska Pharmacist license required
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience required
Retail pharmacy experience required
Hospital or critical access experience preferred
Ability to adapt to a remote/small-town setting required Great chance to enjoy Alaska in the summer while gaining valuable experience in a close-knit healthcare environment.
