Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Fort Wainwright, Alaska, offering a dynamic work environment in a hospital setting. This contract role involves working 8-hour shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM, including weekends. Shifts are scheduled to avoid consecutive early and late starts, providing a balanced work schedule. Holiday shifts may be required and generally last 4-5 hours.

Fort Wainwright, AK Responsibilities:
Accurately verify and process standard hospital pharmacy orders Dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements Flexibly cover holiday shifts as needed Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting Proficiency with standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verification processes Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred Must hold an active Alaska pharmacist license or be willing to obtain a temporary license If not licensed in Alaska at the time of submission, candidate must apply within 24 hours of an offer
Schedule:
8-hour shifts with start times at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, or 11:00 AM Variable days including weekends Holiday shifts of 4-5 hours as needed
