Key Responsibilities:

Accurately verify and dispense hospital pharmacy orders. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use. Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and state pharmacy regulations. Adapt to variable shift schedules, including occasional holiday shifts of 4-5 hours as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacist experience required. Proficiency with standard hospital pharmacy orders and product verification. Experience with Cerner preferred but not mandatory. Valid Alaska pharmacist license or temporary license accepted. Candidates without an active Alaska license must apply for it within 24 hours of job acceptance.

Location:

Position is based in Fairbanks, AK, with free one-bedroom housing provided (note that pet-friendly units are not available).

Schedule:

8-hour shifts with start times at 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 AM. Variable days including weekends. Holiday shifts scheduled as needed, typically shorter duration (4-5 hours).
