Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a 500-bed hospital setting, featuring specialized units including a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The role involves delivering general inpatient pharmacy services to support optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage medication therapy for hospitalized patients across various units Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use Utilize the EPIC system for medication order entry, verification, and clinical documentation Participate in clinical rounds and provide drug information as needed Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacy practice experience highly preferred Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record system is advantageous, especially experience following a system conversion from Cerner Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently during night shifts Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule and Location:
