The facility is a leading pediatric medical provider, recognized as one of the largest in the U.S. and the state's only pediatric medical center. 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30

ASAP Responsibilities:

Compound and dispense medications according to physician orders Consult with medical staff on drug interactions, patient history, and medication use Counsel patients on medication and dosage instructions Maintain pharmacy data in compliance with regulatory and hospital procedures Verify dosing accuracy based on diagnosis, weight, age, and surface area Monitor and intervene in drug therapy problems such as allergies and adverse reactions Evaluate and recommend drug therapies, including non-formulary drugs and cost-effective alternatives Ensure medication quality, preparation, and labeling standards Prioritize and process orders efficiently and accurately Engage in patient care monitoring and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize therapeutic outcomes Participate in educational initiatives for patients, technicians, pharmacists, and students Manage drug information requests and support drug utilization reviews Handle medication and supply orders, backorders, substitutions, and inventory coordination Qualifications /

Desired Experience:
