Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract Support pediatric patient care as a Clinical Pharmacist on the night shift in a leading 359-bed teaching hospital. This role offers a dynamic, team-based environment where you will directly impact medication therapy for hospitalized children. The facility is a trauma level 1 center and one of the largest pediatric medical providers in the country, uniquely serving Arkansas as its sole pediatric medical center.

Schedule & Location:

Night shifts, 7 days on/7 days off 12-hour shifts: Thursday through Wednesday, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (flexible scheduling available) Located in Jacksonville, Arkansas Contract position for 13 weeks, with potential for temp to hire

Key Responsibilities:

Compound and dispense medications according to physician orders Consult with medical staff on drug interactions, patient history, and medication use Monitor and verify dosing accuracy based on pediatric parameters such as weight and age Identify and resolve drug therapy issues, including allergies, interactions, and adverse reactions Recommend cost-effective and clinically appropriate alternative therapies Maintain accurate pharmacy records in compliance with regulations and hospital policies Educate patients, pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and students as part of patient care and discharge planning Participate in drug information management and utilization review activities Manage medication ordering, inventory, and substitution processes to ensure availability

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
