Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an Inpatient Pharmacist position at a large, 500-bed medical center featuring specialized units including a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The facility has recently transitioned its system to EPIC from Cerner in February, offering a dynamic environment for clinical pharmacists familiar with this electronic health record platform.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services to inpatient units. Manage medication therapy and ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical care. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation, order verification, and medication reconciliation. Participate in clinical rounds, providing pharmacologic expertise. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacist is highly preferred. Familiarity with EPIC system is strongly desired to support seamless patient care in the new platform. Strong clinical judgment and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off night shift, Wednesday through Tuesday rotation.

Travel assignment with flexibility to consider permanent relocation candidates. This position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity hospital setting with diverse patient populations, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care.
