Full-Time | Monday-Friday +Occasional Saturday Compensation:
$58-$65/Hour +Benefits On-Call:
None Position Overview Our client, a 24/7/365 closed-door long-term care pharmacy , is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support residents of skilled nursing, assisted living, and group home facilities throughout Arkansas. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for consistent scheduling, no on-call responsibilities, strong team support, and a balance of clinical and dispensing responsibilities . Another pharmacist is always on duty, providing a collaborative environment focused on medication safety and quality resident care. Key Responsibilities- Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Accurately and efficiently dispense medications.
- Apply clinical pharmacy knowledge to support safe and effective resident care.
- Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and facility teams.
- Maintain high standards for medication safety, accuracy, and quality.
- Provide professional and compassionate service to residents and caregivers.
- Work collaboratively with another pharmacist who is always scheduled on duty.
- Follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Schedule
- Monday-Friday with rotating shifts:
- 10:30 AM-7:00 PM
- 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
- 1:30 PM-10:00 PM
- Approximately one Saturday every two months .
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Scheduled breaks and lunch. Qualifications
- Active Arkansas Pharmacist license in good standing.
- 1-2 years of pharmacist experience preferred.
- Sterile compounding experience is preferred but not required .
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to medication safety and accuracy.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to pharmacy care.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Compensation & Benefits
