Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a travel pharmacist in Bullhead City, AZ, offering a unique 7 on/7 off schedule with 10 to 12-hour shifts. This role is designed for professionals ready to step into a fast-paced hospital environment with an ASAP start. The shift times are weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., providing variety and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety. Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care. Manage pharmacokinetics and medication dosing adjustments. Utilize MedHost EMR for accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Arizona pharmacist license. Valid ACLS and BLS certifications. Demonstrated hospital pharmacy experience. IV certification with hands-on experience in intravenous medication preparation. Strong communication and leadership skills in a clinical setting.
