Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Night Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in a hospital setting located in Cottonwood, AZ. This role offers the chance to contribute to a 100-bed facility using Cerner EMR, providing vital pharmaceutical care during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care Apply pharmacokinetic principles in medication management Maintain accurate records and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Active Arizona Pharmacist license Demonstrated hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a similar environment Proficiency with Cerner or comparable electronic medical record systems Strong communication skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
Schedule:
Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM Rotating schedule of 7 days on, 7 days off This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential pharmaceutical support during critical nocturnal hours.
