Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire This role offers a unique opportunity to lead pharmacy operations as a Pharmacist in Charge based in Gilbert, AZ. It focuses on maintaining high standards in a 503A facility, combining clinical expertise with regulatory and leadership responsibilities. The position is direct hire and is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in pharmacy management and compliance.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Arizona or New Jersey (required) 3-5 years of pharmacy experience Preference for mail-order, outpatient, community, or compounding pharmacy backgrounds Comfortable functioning in a PIC (Pharmacist in Charge) capacity Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations specific to 503A pharmacies West Coast state licenses (CA, NM, TX, NV, UT, OR, WA, CO) highly preferred Previous PIC or pharmacy management experience beneficial Experience with PioneerRx preferred, though training will be provided Local candidates preferred (Gilbert, AZ or West Egg Township/Galloway, NJ); relocation is not approved at this time
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide excellent patient counseling Supervise pharmacy staff while ensuring adherence to SOPs, USP / standards, and
FDA 503A
compliance Manage pharmacy inventory and controlled substances, maintaining thorough documentation Address patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy Ensure consistent regulatory compliance for all state jurisdictions involved
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Potential weekend hours as the pharmacy expands This direct hire role offers the chance to apply your regulatory knowledge and leadership skills within a growing pharmacy environment.
