Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Per Diem pharmacist opportunity supporting a growing team of 2-3 pharmacists to cover flexible shifts in retail pharmacy locations. This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking part-time hours (2-4 days per week) to support coverage during call outs, vacations, or volume spikes. Training will be provided to ensure readiness across multiple stores.
Location:
Glendale, AZ Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (some shifts may extend to 8:00 p.m.) Hours vary; no guaranteed shifts, work as needed to support operation
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately with an average volume of 100-125 prescriptions per day Provide immunizations and other patient care services where applicable Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and adapt to pharmacist-only environments at smaller sites Complete dedicated training sessions on pharmacy operations and QS1 system usage
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience, with preference for those skilled in independent decision-making Immunization privileges and current BLS certification required Comfortable working in multiple pharmacy settings with varying levels of technician support
Additional Information:
One 8-hour shift will be provided for initial training; additional training available if needed Familiarity with the QS1 dispensing system is beneficial This per diem position offers flexibility and the opportunity to join a team focused on maintaining quality pharmacy services across several locations.
