Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in need of an experienced clinical pharmacist to support their outpatient pharmacy is seeking a skilled professional for a contract role based in Golden Valley, AZ. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment providing direct patient care and pharmacy services.
Location:
Golden Valley, AZ Schedule:
Variable shift between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, primarily 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Verify, fill, and review prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and proper storage Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize outpatient medication therapy
Qualifications:
Active Arizona pharmacist license is required Minimum of 5 years of retail pharmacy experience, demonstrating strong clinical knowledge Ability to work flexible shifts within the given time frame Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
Contract Details:
Start date anticipated in mid-July Contract duration of approximately 13 weeks with possible extension This role is ideal for a seasoned pharmacist comfortable managing both clinical and operational responsibilities in an outpatient setting. The position requires a proactive individual ready to take accountability for medication safety and patient education.
