Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a travel pharmacist to support hospital operations with an immediate start. The role is based in Mohave Valley, AZ, offering a 7 on/7 off schedule with shifts ranging from 10 to 12 hours. Weekday hours are 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring compliance and workflow Consult with physicians and nurses on medication management and pharmacokinetics Utilize MedHost EMR system for documentation and medication tracking Apply hospital pharmacy standards including IV medication preparation and administration
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Arizona pharmacist license Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required Proven hospital pharmacy experience with IV certification Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and hospital protocols Experience working with MedHost EMR preferred
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off
Weekdays:
9:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Weekends:
