Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A unique opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists ready to contribute to healthcare in a remote tribal clinic and hospital setting in Arizona. Three full-time travel pharmacist positions are open, offering the chance to engage in meaningful clinical work while embracing the distinctive environment of a tribal healthcare facility.
Positions Available:
Two Outpatient Clinic Pharmacists One Night Shift Emergency Department Pharmacist (clinical experience required; must be willing to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert pharmaceutical care in outpatient and emergency settings Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Participate in decentralized emergency department pharmacy services (for ED role) Utilize the RPMS system, a proprietary electronic health record similar to the
VA's VistA Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid pharmacist license from any state (Arizona license not required due to tribal facility status) Preference for candidates with residency or hospital experience Clinical pharmacy expertise, especially for the emergency department role Willingness to work in a remote tribal clinic environment Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills Commitment to obtaining necessary life support certifications for the ED role
Schedule:
Typically 10-hour shifts, from 8:00 AM to 6:00
