The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in pharmacy operations, with a focus on non-sterile compounding medications and providing exceptional patient care. As a Compounding Pharmacist, you will be responsible for preparing customized medications, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting clinical pharmacy services to optimize patient outcomes. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment committed to innovative pharmaceutical practices and comprehensive patient support. Responsibilities Compound medications accurately and safely according to prescribed formulations, including non-sterile preparations. Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and proper handling of non-sterile compounds to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety. Manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals, supplies, and compounding ingredients to maintain optimal stock while minimizing waste. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, pharmacy laws, and safety standards across all pharmacy operations. Provide patient service by offering medication counseling, answering questions about non-sterile compounded medications, and supporting overall patient care initiatives. Assist in training pharmacy technicians on compounding procedures and inventory management practices. Requirements Current and valid pharmacist license in BOTH Arizona and California. Experience working with pharmacy technicians in a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills focused on patient service and interdisciplinary collaboration.
