Pharmacist in Tuba City, AZ

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Pharmacist position based in Tuba City, AZ, offering a 13-week contract role with an immediate start. The position supports both the main campus and satellite clinics, delivering comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to a broad patient population including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric cases. Experience with the Allscripts EMR system is required.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care and clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Ensure pharmacy operations comply with organizational policies, maintaining consistent service quality. Work rotational shifts including day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays. Participate in career advancement opportunities from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist levels. Advanced Practice Pharmacist duties may include managing specialized pharmacy clinics, clinical program development, policy administration, and supervision of pharmacy staff. Serve as Clinic Manager of Operations for designated clinics, overseeing pharmacy professionals and support staff.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution. Current, valid, and unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. Minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Pharmacist. At least one year of clinical pharmacy experience. Successful completion and clearance of fingerprinting prior to start.
