Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire Looking for a Pharmacist who is comfortable working in a rural, remote setting and wants a unique opportunity with a tribal clinic/hospital in Dilkon, Arizona. Hospital:
10-bed facility
Schedule:
4x10-hour day shifts per week
Weekends:
Every other weekend
On-Call:
Rotating on-call
Schedule:
Shifts may not be consecutive, so flexibility is important
License:
Arizona Pharmacist license is NOT required
System:
RPMS, a proprietary system commonly used in IHS facilities What You'll Do Provide pharmacy services in both outpatient and inpatient settings Support the newly opened 10-bed hospital Handle primarily outpatient pharmacy responsibilities Assist with inpatient pharmacy needs as required Work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment What We're Looking For Pharmacist license in good standing; AZ license not required Experience in a hospital setting Inpatient, infusion, or long-term care experience required Tribal or IHS experience highly preferred Dependable with a strong work ethic Able to remain calm and effective under pressure Comfortable working in a rural/remote environment Flexible with scheduling and on-call responsibilities Important Location & Housing Details Dilkon is approximately 30 miles outside of Winslow, AZ This is a very remote area Reliable transportation/car is required — there are no Uber services in the area On-site hospital housing is often unavailable Pharmacists should be prepared to stay in a hotel or short-term rental in Winslow If you're an experienced Pharmacist looking for a unique tribal/IHS opportunity and are comfortable with rural living, reach out today!
