47 Beds) Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in a dynamic acute care hospital setting. The pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication therapy for hospitalized patients. This role provides pharmaceutical care across both the main hospital campus and the specialty campus while supporting quality patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.Hospital Overview Main Campus:

Grey scrubs Responsibilities Review, verify, and accurately dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. Evaluate medication therapy for appropriateness, safety, efficacy, dosing, interactions, allergies, and contraindications. Provide clinical pharmacy services and medication recommendations to physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Monitor patient medication therapies and recommend therapeutic interventions when appropriate. Prepare and verify sterile and non-sterile medications according to regulatory and organizational standards. Participate in medication reconciliation and medication safety initiatives. Respond to drug information requests from healthcare providers. Ensure compliance with state, federal, Joint Commission, and hospital pharmacy regulations. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily workflow. Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner electronic medical record system. Schedule Main Campus (10-Hour Pharmacist Shifts) 5:00 AM- 3:30 PM 5:45 AM

- 5:00 PM Schedule Requirements Weekend rotation required (every other weekend) On-call coverage required for scheduled shifts at the Specialty Campus Flexibility to work assigned shifts based on departmental needs Qualifications Required Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy Current, unrestricted California Pharmacist license Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and medication management Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment Preferred Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Pharmacy residency (PGY1) or equivalent hospital clinical experience Experience using Epic EMR Sterile compounding experience Board certification (BCPS) is a plus Skills & Competencies Clinical pharmacotherapy Medication safety and regulatory compliance IV admixture and sterile compounding Pharmacokinetics and dosing consults Time management and multitasking Attention to detail Strong customer service and communication skills Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to high-quality patient care Why Join Our Team?
