Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Provide clinical pharmacy expertise in a dynamic hospital environment supporting inpatient medication management and safety. This per diem opportunity offers the chance to work on an 18-bed med-surg unit and a 10-bed emergency department, utilizing CPSI/Evident and Pyxis software systems. Responsibilities include verifying and reviewing medication orders for accuracy, compounding sterile medications such as IV admixtures and unit-dose formulations (excluding chemotherapy or hazardous drugs), and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and state/federal regulations. You will monitor patients' medication therapy, offer clinical recommendations to healthcare teams, and may assist with restocking Pyxis machines at local family health centers. Being on call after hours and responding to occasional emergency codes is required.
