Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type All Job Types A retail pharmacist position is available in Northern California to provide essential pharmacy services during a vacation coverage period. This opportunity is ideal for licensed pharmacists, including recent graduates, who are seeking short-term work experience in a retail setting.
Location:
Northern California, Blue Lake area
Schedule/Hours:
Week of 6/22: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts Week of 6/29: Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications according to established procedures and regulations Provide comprehensive medication counseling and education to patients Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary pharmaceutical supplies Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication regimens Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with privacy laws and professional standards Uphold safety and quality standards within the pharmacy environment
Qualifications:
Current pharmacist license in good standing New graduates are welcome to apply, provided licensure is active Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and accuracy This assignment offers a valuable opportunity for pharmacists to support a community pharmacy during a temporary staffing need. Candidates willing to work the specified two-week period with consistent day shifts are encouraged to apply.
