Job Description

Job Summary:
We are Hiring licensed Clinical Pharmacist for a contract opportunity in Corcoran, California . The selected candidate will work in a professional healthcare environment, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications while collaborating with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist License (required and must remain active throughout the assignment). Minimum 12 consecutive months of pharmacist experience within the last 3 years in a healthcare setting. Internship experience does not qualify toward the required experience. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) . Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescribed medications. Evaluate prescriptions for appropriate dosage, potential drug interactions, allergies, and formulary compliance. Prepare, compound, label, and verify medications, including IV admixtures when applicable. Maintain accurate medication, inventory, and controlled substance records in accordance with applicable regulations. Provide medication consultations and drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Assist with medication reconciliation and patient discharge planning. Supervise and support Pharmacy Technicians to ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and procedures. Follow all facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge or designated supervisor. Why Join Us? $65.00 - $68.00 per hour
