Drive growth. Make a real impact. We are seeking a dynamic and driven Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations, ensure compliance, and help scale a growing organization. This is a unique opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys both hands-on patient care and leadership , and is excited to be part of an expanding platform. Key Responsibilities Operations & Leadership Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow Verify prescriptions, ensure accurate dispensing, and provide patient counseling Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy technicians and staff Foster a positive, high-performance, and professional work environment Monitor prescription volume and optimize staffing and workflow processes Address patient concerns, escalations, and service recovery with professionalism Support growth initiatives, including expansion into new locations Maintain oversight of inventory, including controlled substances Compliance & PIC Responsibilities Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge in accordance with California Board of Pharmacy regulations Ensure full compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations Maintain accurate recordkeeping, licensing, and regulatory documentation Ensure full compliance with federal and California pharmacy regulations, including Title 16, Division 17 of the California Code of Regulations Oversee controlled substance management, security, and audit readiness Ensure proper staff supervision and technician-to-pharmacist ratio compliance Develop and maintain pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs Lead and represent the pharmacy during inspections and regulatory audits Bilingual (English and Spanish) Qualifications Active California Pharmacist License (Required) Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution 3+ years of experience Prior PIC experience or demonstrated leadership in a pharmacy setting preferred Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage and improve workflow High-energy, proactive leadership style with a hands-on approach Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, independent pharmacy environment Why Join Us?
