We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Full-Time Pharmacist to join our clinical team and help drive our mission of outstanding community care. Position Overview The Full-Time Pharmacist/ Pharmacist In Charge will oversee daily prescription dispensing operations, provide clinical medication therapy management, offer direct patient consultations, and ensure strict compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role requires an individual with exceptional clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a dedication to patient safety.
D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) from an accredited institution.
Key Responsibilities Prescription Dispensing & Safety:
Accurately compound and dispense prescribed medications, ensuring precise dosage, checking for drug-drug interactions, and performing meticulous final clinical verifications.Patient Counseling & Care:
Provide comprehensive counseling to patients regarding correct drug administration, potential side effects, storage, and therapeutic compliance.Clinical Services:
Administer immunizations and health screenings; manage medication therapy management (MTM) programs to improve patient health outcomes.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure full operational compliance with all California State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA guidelines, and local, state, and federal laws.Team Leadership:
Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians and clerks, maintaining a highly collaborative, efficient, and professional workspace.Qualifications & Skills Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm) from an accredited institution.
