Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for licensed pharmacists to fill essential roles at a healthcare facility in El Centro, CA. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Candidates will engage in a fast-paced, supportive environment requiring clinical expertise and excellent communication skills.

El Centro, CA Type:
Contract (13 weeks +, temp-to-hire possibility)
Schedule:
7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Four 10-hour shifts per week Some on-call responsibilities shared across staff
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations Provide consultations to physicians and nursing staff regarding medications Apply pharmacokinetic principles for patient-specific drug dosing Support inpatient medication management and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Valid California Pharmacist license Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings preferred Ability to adapt quickly with an ASAP start date Proficient with Cerner pharmacy systems or similar technology This role is well suited for pharmacists who thrive in clinical environments and enjoy collaborating with healthcare teams. The contract offers a structured schedule with shared on-call duties, allowing for a manageable work-life balance. Immediate starts are critical for this emergent need.
