Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Travel Join a leading pediatric healthcare team in Northern California as a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in hospital inpatient care. This opportunity involves working within a well-respected 300-bed children's hospital known for its commitment to exceptional patient care and advanced clinical practices.
Location:
Fremont, CA (with work based at a premier children's hospital in Palo Alto)
Schedule/Hours:
Variable days and afternoons 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to hospitalized pediatric patients Utilize EPIC software to manage medication orders, monitor drug therapies, and communicate with healthcare teams Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication management and patient outcomes Participate in clinical rounds, providing expert medication recommendations and education
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience, preferably in pediatrics Clinical expertise in pediatric pharmacotherapy within a hospital setting Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system Candidates similar to UCSF preferences are highly regarded: PGY1 residency graduates with strong work ethic and clinical skills
