Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to support inpatient pharmacy services in El Centro, CA. This contract role is designed for professionals eager to leverage their clinical skills in a fast-paced hospital environment with a possibility to transition into a permanent position.
Location:
El Centro, CA (close to Holtville, CA)
Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts per week) Shared on-call responsibilities with the team
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to optimize workflow Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide clinical pharmacy consultations Manage pharmacokinetics services, optimizing patient medication therapies Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Active California Pharmacist license Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings preferred Ability to handle demanding workloads and adapt quickly in emergent situations Ready to start immediately
Additional Information:
Utilizes Cerner electronic health record system Contract engagement initially for 13 weeks with a potential to convert to permanent Emergent staffing need to fill three open positions This role offers a chance to work within a supportive team while delivering critical patient care through pharmacy services. Candidates must be prepared for immediate start dates and to maintain flexible availability including shared on-call duties.
