Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a hospital in Imperial County, CA. The assignment offers an immediate start with a 13-week contract that has the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (four 10-hour shifts per week) Shared on-call responsibilities with the pharmacy team
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accuracy and compliance Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist with workflow management Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff for medication-related consultations Utilize pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient drug therapy Work within the Cerner electronic health record system
Desired Qualifications:
Current CA pharmacist license Experience with inpatient pharmacy practice Ability to begin work immediately or with minimal delay Strong communication and team collaboration skills This contract role provides a dynamic hospital setting that values clinical expertise and teamwork.
