Job Description

Apex Pharmacy is looking for a part-time or full-time (graveyard) pharmacist to join our team. We are a small family owned pharmacy located in Irwindale, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities Manage the pharmacy's front-line pharmacists, including dispensing prescription drugs, refilling prescriptions, and checking in/out patients. Manage the front-line staff including scheduling, scheduling-out, and staffing. Provide consultation on a variety of medical topics and assist in the development of medical policies and procedures. Assist in the evaluation of new medications and new ways to improve patient care. Assist in the evaluation of new medications and new ways to improve patient care. Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy environment that promotes safety and good customer service. Skills Proven work experience as a pharmacist. Experience with LTC In-depth understanding of pharmacy policies and procedures as well as customer service practices. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, Frameworks and ECM, etc. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) along with interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. PharmD required
