Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a dedicated Pharmacist to provide critical support at a 25-bed critical access hospital near Clear Lake, CA. This contract position requires a licensed pharmacist with hospital experience, ready to engage in a fast-paced clinical setting and contribute to patient care through medication management and consultation.
Location:
Kelseyville, CA (Clear Lake region)
Schedule:
Day shifts, four 10-hour days per week Flexible scheduling with potential to block shifts Assignment duration: 13 weeks, starting
ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Consult with physicians to optimize pharmacological treatment plans Manage pharmacokinetics monitoring for patient-specific adjustments Utilize EPIC and Omnicell pharmacy systems effectively
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid California Pharmacist license required Demonstrated hospital pharmacy experience preferred Availability for full-time work during the assignment period Proficient with pharmacy IT systems such as EPIC and Omnicell This contract provides a chance to enhance clinical expertise in a critical access hospital environment while supporting a vital rural community.
