Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist with expertise in compounding to support pharmacy operations in Lamont, CA. This full-time contract position extends through July 2026, with potential for permanent employment. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding, a thorough understanding of pharmacy regulations, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare providers and patients. Responsibilities include overseeing the compounding process, performing final prescription verifications, accurately filling and labeling medications, and counseling patients. Compliance with USP standards 795, 797, 800, and Board of Pharmacy regulations is essential to maintain quality and safety.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM Full-time through July 2026
Qualifications:
PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy Active California Pharmacist license 3-5 years of pharmacy experience, with a preference for compounding experience Strong communication and organizational abilities Retail pharmacy experience will be considered This role offers a dynamic environment for professionals skilled in compounding to contribute to patient care and medication safety.
