Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with protocols Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care Manage pharmacokinetics and medication dosing adjustments Utilize Altera Sunrise pharmacy software (training provided)

Qualifications and Experience:

Active California pharmacist license is essential Previous hospital or acute care pharmacy experience preferred Ability to adapt to a less common pharmacy IT system with provided training Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
