Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist role is available to support inpatient care in a hospital setting. The position focuses on delivering pharmacy services in Sylmar, CA, and requires flexibility in shift work, primarily covering first and second shifts with occasional third shifts.
Responsibilities include:
Providing clinical pharmacy services for inpatient medication management Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Reviewing medication orders and ensuring accuracy and safety Participating in on-site interviews and integrating into the clinical workflow
Qualifications:
Preference for candidates who have completed a PGY1 residency Alternatively, pharmacists with approximately two years of current inpatient experience or hospital internships will be considered Strong clinical knowledge and ability to handle varied shifts, mainly 8-hour long Commitment to long-term contract assignments with potential for permanent placement
Schedule:
8-hour shifts, mainly first and second shifts Flexibility to work occasional third shifts as needed This contract opportunity suits pharmacists seeking to advance their careers in a dynamic inpatient environment offering hands-on clinical experience.
