ABSMC-Alta Bates Summit Med Center Position Overview:
Responsible for supervision of the daily work flow of pharmacy operations and activities to ensure efficient, effective, and accurate levels of operation as well as assuring compliance to established policies and procedures, laws, and regulations. Responsibilities also include training, regulatory compliance, input for personnel performance assessment, and staff development. Serves as a clinical pharmacist and carries out the dispensing and clinical functions of that job description. Functions as a drug specialist and therapy consultant in promoting optimum medication use in the outpatient pharmacy that serves a patient population of all ages.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
PHARMR-Registered Pharmacist
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
5 years recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of State, Federal and accrediting body regulations and standards, performs in accordance with them. Ability to effectively coordinate and implement changes in operations. Working relations with staff employees, physicians and other medical personnel. Computer literate in Microsoft Windows environment with moderate level of competency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others. Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results.
