Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established community health center pharmacy in Orange Cove, CA, is urgently seeking a full-time pharmacist to provide immediate coverage. This contract position offers a focused role within a supportive environment equipped with experienced pharmacy technicians and utilizing the Rx30 system.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM This role requires a pharmacist with recent retail or community pharmacy experience who can seamlessly manage daily pharmacy operations while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and medication safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately following prescriptions and legal guidelines Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes Manage inventory and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements Utilize the Rx30 system for processing and record-keeping Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries effectively
Desired Experience:
Recent experience in retail or community pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations Proficient in using pharmacy management software (Rx30 preferred) Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Location:
Orange Cove, California This is a contract position starting immediately, with an initial duration of four weeks and a strong possibility of extension. Qualified candidates with a commitment to quality pharmacy practice and community health are encouraged to apply promptly to support this critical need.
