$70.00 - $74.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in retail pharmacy practices and demonstrate a commitment to patient care. This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management for patients across various settings, including long-term care (LTC) pharmacy. Duties Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including patient assessment and medication administration. Review and interpret physician orders for appropriateness, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes. Manage inventory effectively to ensure the availability of medications while minimizing waste. Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and health maintenance. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical pharmacy services. Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution. Experience in retail and LTC pharmacy settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, and pharmacotherapy principles. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to perform thorough patient assessments. Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory management. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
