Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract An interim Pharmacist In Charge opportunity is available starting Monday, June 22, for a 12-13 week contract in Paradise, CA. This role oversees all aspects of pharmacy operations within a busy retail environment, ensuring quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Monday to
Friday:
9:00 AM - 8:00
PM Saturday and Sunday:
9:00 AM - 5:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle of prescription processing and dispensing, including direct communication with prescribing providers, insurance companies, and patients. Supervise and support the pharmacy technician team in daily operations. Oversee pharmacy opening and closing procedures to maintain security and compliance. Complete all required Pharmacist In Charge documentation and regulatory paperwork.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience; prior retail Pharmacist In Charge experience strongly preferred. Valid California pharmacist license in hand. Current immunization certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) card required. Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) system is essential.
