Staff Pharmacist

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A reputable hospital in Ventura County is currently seeking a dedicated night shift pharmacist to support their team. This opportunity offers a chance to gain valuable experience in a well-established healthcare environment supporting approximately 300 beds.

Location:

Ventura County, California Schedule:

7 days on, 7 days off Night shift: 9:00 PM to 7:30

AM Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions in a timely manner Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy Monitor patient medication profiles for safety, efficacy, and potential interactions Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Provide guidance and counseling to healthcare staff and patients as needed

Qualifications:

Valid pharmacist license in California Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong knowledge of medication management and safety protocols Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently during night shifts

Additional Details:

Contract role with potential to convert to temp-to-hire status Immediate availability preferred
