Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Lead home infusion pharmacy operations as a Pharmacy Manager, overseeing safe and effective delivery of intravenous therapies in patients' homes. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to manage sterile compounding activities, guide pharmacy personnel, and ensure compliance with stringent regulatory standards — all while driving branch profitability and quality patient care.
Location:
Torrance, CA Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Schedule flexibility required, including administrative on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily pharmacy functions including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians Maintain strict adherence to State Board of Pharmacy regulations and USP compounding standards Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize clinical outcomes for home infusion patients Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and branch performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in California 3 to 7 years of combined clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings Expertise in IV admixture services, regulatory compliance, and team leadership Experience with CareTend software is highly preferred This role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to shape the delivery of home infusion therapies within a collaborative and patient-focused environment.
