Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established community health center pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to provide crucial coverage starting immediately. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with recent retail or community pharmacy experience who is ready to contribute to a smoothly operating pharmacy team. The position requires working Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a consistent weekday schedule.

Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with laws and regulations. Provide exceptional patient counseling and support regarding medication use and safety. Verify and process prescriptions using the Rx30 pharmacy system. Collaborate with experienced pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations. Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and health center policies.

Desired Qualifications:

Current pharmacist license with recent retail or community pharmacy experience. Proficiency with Rx30 pharmacy management system preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Visalia, CA This is a contract position initially scheduled for four weeks, with the possibility of extension depending on needs. The role offers the chance to work within a well-run pharmacy environment, supporting patient care in a community health center setting.
