Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in chemotherapy and oncology to support outpatient oncology infusion services. This contract role is based in the Los Angeles area and offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, from 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The assignment is expected to last 13 weeks or longer, providing stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a renowned healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify intravenous (IV) medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile and hazardous drug compounding. Collaborate with the oncology care team to deliver safe and effective chemotherapy treatment. Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and medication management. Assist with workflow in outpatient oncology infusion centers across multiple sites within the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid pharmacist licensure in California. Solid experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy. Strong IV admixture knowledge and hands-on practice. Thorough understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 requirements. Experience working with EPIC electronic health records is preferred. Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary clinical team.
