Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join a collaborative outpatient cancer center team within a large, established acute care hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with oncologists and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered oncology care in a supportive and specialized environment. Responsibilities Verify chemotherapy and supportive care medication orders Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, and clinical staff on treatment plans Ensure safe and effective medication use in oncology patients Supervise and support pharmacy technicians Provide drug information and clinical guidance to healthcare providers Participate in patient safety and quality initiatives Maintain compliance with oncology protocols and regulatory standards Work Schedule Monday - Friday Day shift hours Outpatient infusion / cancer center setting Experience Minimum 3+ years of recent oncology pharmacy experience in a cancer center or infusion setting OR Completion of PGY2 Oncology Residency Strong background in chemotherapy verification and oncology protocols Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent Active California Pharmacist License (required) Additional Qualifications BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist) preferred Experience with Allscripts or similar pharmacy systems Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Compensation Pay Range:
