Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support an outpatient/ambulatory division. This 13-week contract position begins on September 28 and offers a daytime shift from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The role is based in Aurora, CO, and is open to local candidates with the appropriate licensure. Responsibilities include reviewing orders, dispensing, and verifying both hazardous and non-hazardous medications for oncology and infusion patients. A strong focus on safety and accuracy is essential in this role to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in infusion pharmacy Oncology/chemotherapy experience is a significant advantage Current and active Colorado pharmacist license in good standing Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to patient safety This position offers the chance to apply specialized pharmacy skills in a clinical setting dealing with complex infusion therapies.
