Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - IV Certified Job Type Contract An outpatient/ambulatory infusion pharmacist position is available at a leading hospital in Aurora, CO. This 13-week contract role starts on September 28th with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The position involves specialized pharmacy work focusing on oncology and infusion patients within the outpatient setting.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing medication orders with attention to detail Dispensing and verifying hazardous and non-hazardous medications used in infusion therapy Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care Candidates must have: A minimum of 2 years of infusion pharmacy experience; oncology/chemotherapy expertise is highly desirable Active Colorado pharmacy license in good standing Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system Ability to work onsite in Aurora, CO (local candidates preferred) This is a contract opportunity suited for pharmacists who are IV certified and experienced with inpatient and outpatient pharmacy practice in hospital settings.
