Job Description

CVS Pharmacy is seeking dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacists to support our upcoming immunization season. This role will play a key part in providing essential vaccines to our communities—both in-store and at off-site clinic events . As an Immunization Support Pharmacist, you'll help ensure our patients receive timely, accurate, and professional care. This is a great opportunity to practice clinical skills, connect with patients, and promote public health during peak vaccine demand.

Responsibilities:

Administer vaccines (including flu, COVID-19, RSV, and others) according to state regulations and company protocols Conduct patient screening, education, and documentation Support efficient vaccine clinic setup, workflow, and takedown at off-site locations Assist with immunization operations in the pharmacy when not scheduled at a clinic Ensure compliance with safety, documentation, and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with store teams to identify eligible patients and drive immunization outreach Maintain a positive, professional patient experience throughout the vaccination process

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Immunization certification (APhA or equivalent) Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with diverse patient populations Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends or evenings during clinic events Reliable transportation (for travel to off-site clinic locations, if needed)

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience with immunizations Experience working in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting Familiarity with vaccine inventory systems and workflow tools Join us in making a difference this immunization season—one patient, one community at a time.
