Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - IV Certified Job Type Contract An outpatient infusion pharmacist position is available at a leading hospital's ambulatory division in Colorado. This contract role starts September 28 and runs for approximately 13 weeks, with a typical shift from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Local candidates with a current Colorado pharmacist license in good standing are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, dispense, and verify orders of hazardous and non-hazardous medications, focusing on oncology and infusion treatments. Ensure accurate preparation and administration of infusion therapies tailored to outpatient care protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient treatment plans and medication safety. Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to document and manage patient information and medication orders.Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of two years infusion pharmacy experience; chemotherapy expertise is a strong plus. Current Colorado pharmacist licensure in good standing. Proficiency withEPIC EMR
system. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.Location:
Denver, Colorado area (ambulatory division outpatient infusion services)Shift and Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This contract opportunity provides a chance to contribute specialized pharmacy services in a dynamic outpatient setting.
