Walmart Inc., a leading global retailer, is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our team. This role is instrumental in providing essential healthcare services within our hypermarkets ensuring the health and safety of our community. The Staff Pharmacist will be responsible for managing prescriptions, advising on medication use, and delivering exceptional healthcare services in accordance with Walmart's commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Review and execute physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products Ensure the pharmacy complies with all local, state, and federal regulations Educate customers on possible drug interactions and side effects of medications Provide advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication such as tablet, injection, ointment etc. Keep abreast of advancements in medicine by attending conferences and seminars and collaborating with other healthcare professionals Counsel and manage a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants ensuring their skills and capabilities are being maximized Required Skills Extensive knowledge of FDA health regulations and a proven ability to adhere to them Excellent organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of building trusted relationships Proficient in Microsoft Office and pharmacy information systems Ability to handle and dispense pharmaceuticals accurately and ethically
