Job Overview We are seeking a reliable Part‑Time Pharmacist to join our independent community pharmacy. The ideal candidate is professional, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering high‑quality care in a friendly, supportive environment. This role is perfect for a pharmacist who enjoys meaningful patient interaction, a manageable workflow, and the personal touch of an independent pharmacy. Responsibilities Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently Provide patient counseling on medications, side effects, and proper usage Oversee daily workflow Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and DEA regulations Assist with inventory management, ordering, and controlled substance handling Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong patient relationships Experience Valid Pharmacist License in Connecticut Ability to verify and dispense prescriptions accurately Provide patient counseling and answering medication questions Familiarity with pharmacy software and standard workflow, Datascan preferred Ability to manage inventory Strong customer‑service skills in a community setting Immunization certification preferred but not required
