About Us Atlantic Apothecary is a patient-focused compounding pharmacy dedicated to providing high-quality, customized medications. We work closely with prescribers and patients to deliver safe, effective, and innovative compounding solutions. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Compounding Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in non-sterile and/or sterile compounding, a commitment to quality and compliance, and a passion for personalized patient care. Key Responsibilities Prepare and verify compounded medications in compliance with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards (as applicable) Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and formulation feasibility Ensure quality control, documentation, and adherence to pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements Counsel patients and healthcare providers on compounded medications as needed Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during compounding processes Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant compounding environment Participate in ongoing quality improvement and training initiatives Qualifications PharmD or BS Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy Active pharmacist license in Delaware, in good standing Previous compounding pharmacy experience preferred Knowledge of USP guidelines and state/federal pharmacy regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Experience Non-sterile and/or sterile compounding experience Experience with hormone replacement therapy (HRT), dermatologic, pediatric, or veterinary compounds Familiarity with compounding software and pharmacy management systems What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Flexible scheduling Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to work in a specialized and growing area of pharmacy practice How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter to brandy@atlanticapothecary.com
